How to Take a Spiritual Bath
How to Take a Spiritual Bath
One of the very best ways to remove negative energy from your aura and restore a sense of peace and power is to take a blessed spiritual bath. By creating your own spiritual bath routine, you have the opportunity to hit the reset button and take back control of your energy. You clear your aura of unwanted energies and move things in a better direction for yourself.
This rejuvenating act of self-care can be accomplished in a few simple steps.
First… you will pnly need epsom salt or a spiritual bath salt blend. Epsom salt is readily available at most drug stores. Spiritual bath salts can be bought at your local metaphysical shop! Or click here to view some options.
Generally speaking, the difference between Epsom salt and spiritual bath salt is that spiritual salts are scented, blessed, include herbs and crystals, and often essential oils as well.
Step 1.) Set Your Intention
A spiritual bath can be done for many different purposes. You may choose a bath for protection and aura cleansing, or you may want to gain the peace you need to manifest a goal or desire. Maybe you want to open yourself up to a new relationship or manifest new money coming in.
The intention you choose is all up to you. Give yourself the time and space you need to be as clear as possible about your goal. Focus on one intention. The more clear and focused you can be, the better your outcome.
Step 2.) Prepare your Space
You can tidy up your bathroom to get yourself in the right frame of mind. Clean the tub and clear unnecessary clutter from the space. You can further enhance the experience by playing some relaxing music, lighting candles, or burning incense. All the layers of additional time and attention you spend preparing will add power to your experience.
Step 3.) Fix the Actual Bath
Fill your bathtub with comfortably hot bath water. Warmer water will allow bath salts to dissolve fully. At this point, you can add crystals, herbs, flowers, or a few drops of spiritual oil or essential oils that link to your intention. If you purchased a bath salt blend, these herbs and scents will be included already! The ingredients you choose should be in alignment with your intention.
Before entering, visualize white or gold light permeating the water; slowly stir the water clockwise as you imbue your intention into the bath. Feel energy from your hands blessing and charging the water. This is also a good time to pray for the outcome you desire.
Take your time with this step. Also, remember your one main focus.
Step 4.) Enter the Bath
Finally, the moment has come! It’s time to slip into the bath. Be sure of a comfortable water temperature and when all is peaceful and ready, step into the tub.
While in the tub, continue to visualize white or golden light permeating your essence. Speak to God, the Universe, spirit guides or patron dieties about the change you need to make. For instance, if spiritual cleansing is the goal say something like, “Dear Creator, please bless me as I clear and cleanse myself. Assist me in removing all the energies which no longer serve me. Help return my power to me. “
Soak and relax and see if any messages come through to you from your guides. Stay in the bath as long as you’d like, until you feel happy, calm, and refreshed.
Step 5.) Drain the Water
While draining the bath, visualize any negative energies going down the drain. Imagine it all flowing out to the sea, to be transformed. It’s removed from you now and replaced with blessed energies.
As you leave the bath, pat yourself dry and dress in clean, comfortable clothes. Some practitioners prefer to air dry. This sets the energy they have created within their aura. The choice is up to you.
When the whole process is done, thank the universe for helping you with this rite. Expect magical and spiritual change!
